I have a Father He watches over me I never thought God could be so close Love could be so free No price that I could pay No prayer that I could pray Could earn his love When life it gets me down No I won't walk away He gave me strength When strength was gone And to that grace my heart belongs I'm not afraid for I am free I have a Father He cares for me If you're alone And you got no place to go Well I don't know Your story or your pain He loves you just the same No longer are we slaves Adopted by the spirit by his grace When sin and shame have found me I won't walk away He gave me strength When strength was gone And to that grace my heart belongs I'm not afraid for I am free I have a Father He cares for me My eyes have seen My mouth has tasted My heart will be Forever changed My eyes have seen My mouth has tasted My heart will be Forever changed Oh my eyes have seen My mouth has tasted My heart will be Forever changed My strength when strength was gone And to that grace my heart belongs I'm not afraid for I am free I have a Father He cares for me Oh He cares for me He cares for me He cares for me

Let me decrease That you increase my Lord in me Let me decrease That you increase my Lord in me Lord let them see Not mine but your will done in me Lord let them see Not mine but your will done in me No other cause for which I live Let all I do Lord build your kingdom here on earth Silent or singing poor or rich I will follow you long as I live Lord help me see Just who your world needs me to be Lord help me see Come Holy Spirit dwell in me In everything I want to be your hands and feet In everything Come Holy Spirit dwell in me No other cause for which I live Let all I do Lord build your kingdom here on earth Silent or singing poor or rich I will follow you long as I live So everything I’ll ever be I surrender at your feet Cause everything I’ll ever be Is only mine because of thee So everything I’ll ever be I surrender at your feet Lord, everything I’ll ever be I surrender to you O Lord my God I surrender to you For the glory of your name No other cause for which I live Let all I do Lord build your kingdom here on earth Silent or singing poor or rich I will follow you long as I live

From belief that I can’t be loved From fear that I’m not good enough From false security I have what it takes From the fear that my trust in you Would lead me to somewhere more destitute From my resistance to child-like dependence on you Deliver me, Jesus I know your love Goes deeper than all my sin I know that you’re with me in my suffering and pain I know your plans are greater than all my own I know that you’ll never leave me orphan or afraid Oh Lord, I place my trust in you From belief that this life has no worth From my suspicion of all of your words Fear of my future, anger or guilt for my past Disbelief in your presence and grace Restless self-seeking and from my own strength Fear that you’d ask of me more than I ever could give away Deliver me, Jesus I know your love Goes deeper than all my sin I know that you’re with me in my suffering and pain I know your plans are greater than all my own I know that you’ll never leave me orphan or afraid Oh Lord, I place my trust in you Jesus I trust in your love Oh Lord, I trust in you Jesus I trust in your love Oh Lord, I trust in you You are continually holding me Always sustaining and loving me Lord, I trust in you You always hear and respond to me Here in your church you are present Lord, I trust in you oh Lord I trust You hold in your life in your hands I know you’ll never leave me orphan Lord, I trust in you oh Lord I trust You give the grace to forgive And to accept your forgiveness Oh Lord, I trust in you

Feeling Safe 03:57
Midnight summer rain Warm dark air feeling safe Celebrate feeling safe Arms around me today I forgot to feel my pain Celebrate feel no pain Hey Celebrate the time you’re feeling safe Before you know the feeling goes away So never be afraid to take the time to say “I’m feeling safe” Good friends conversation great Lights out heart filled with thanks Celebrate give Him thanks Cause mom and dad are on their way Years go by feel like days Celebrate every day Hey Celebrate the time you’re feeling safe Before you know the feeling goes away So never be afraid to take the time to say “I’m feeling safe” Woah won’t you celebrate with me? Woah we could dance away the years Woah won’t you celebrate with me? Cause time is everything Don’t you see? Hey Celebrate the time you’re feeling safe Before you know the feeling goes away So never be afraid to take the time to say “I’m feeling safe” Hey Celebrate the time you’re feeling safe Before you know the feeling goes away So never be afraid take the time to say “I’m feeling safe”

Hold Out to the End

about

I Have a Father is the sophomore album from singer/songwriter and worship leader Thomas Muglia. The album combines prayerful and heartfelt songwriting with rich vocal harmonies and dynamic instrumental textures, with lyrics that strive to reflect honestly on all aspects of a relationship with God and the Christian walk of faith. “Recording this album was a songwriter’s dream. To come out to Nashville with all these songs and be able to produce them in the way that feels most natural and most authentic,” says Thomas. “Music is a tool for communication, it’s a way that we can share a message that people otherwise might not be willing to hear. We can take all these musical elements together with lyrics to make a succinct and focused message. When we do that with scripture or with our prayers, it becomes this powerful force, and that’s why I love to create music.”
